Re-brand reflects a year of success for AJN Steelstock
Following a period of month-on-month record breaking growth, Kentford (Suffolk) based AJN Steelstock has put the finishing touches to a comprehensive re-brand which has equipped the company with a new logo, new website and new vehicle livery.
The re-brand reflects the company’s status as one of the leading stockholders in the Eastern region. In the year to April 2014, the company’s turnover increased to £44 million (63,000 tonnes of steel sold) which represents an increase of 21.5 per cent on the previous year, which itself was a record year when AJN reported a turnover of £36 million (50,000 tonnes of steel sold).
The upward trend has continued with month-on-month turnover since April 2014 reaching a new record high in July.
Success has meant that the company’s eleven acre site in Kentford is nearing capacity and AJN Steelstock is now in advanced negotiations for a new site in the South of England from where it will service its expanding customer base while relieving the pressure on its existing facility.
Commenting, AJN Steelstock’s Finance Director, Courtney Bell, said, “The company is entering its most exciting period since it was founded over 60 years ago. The demand for our steel has never been higher.
“Our new livery, logo and website reflect that success and, in addition, we are close to clinching the purchase of a new site that is considerably larger than our exciting one. This means we can continue to grow at an even faster rate.”
AJN Steelstock primarily serves customers in the construction, agricultural, architectural, food processing and automotive sectors throughout East Anglia, the Home Counties, East Midlands and London.
In addition to its comprehensive range of steel products – the company regularly holds in excess of 15,000 tonnes in stock at any one time – AJN also provides in-house sawing, shot-blast and painting facilities, and a state of the art CNC drilling line from its purpose built Kentford site.
