Moreton Hall Hikers complete monstrous mountain mission
One of AJN Steelstock’s Deputy Production Supervisors, Fethi Jarboui, has completed the ‘Three Peaks Challenge’, raising over £2,800 for Dogs for Good in the process.
Fitness fanatic, Fethi, along with nine other daring fundraisers from Moreton Hall Squash Club in Bury St Edmunds, completed the 23-mile hike and 3,064 metre ascent, with just four minutes left of their allotted 24 hours.
The Three Peaks challenge requires those who undertake it to travel to and climb the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales: Scafell Pike, 978m; Ben Nevis, 1,345m and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), 1,085m in under 24 hours.
The Moreton Hall Hikers took the Challenge to raise funds for Dogs For Good, a UK-based charity that trains dogs to help adults and children with physical and learning disabilities. For over 30 years the charity has been making life-changing differences for people through the power of expertly trained dogs.
The group set a fundraising target of £2,000, managing to smash that goal with the total at over £2,800. The team’s JustGiving page is still open and accepting donations. If you’d like to show your support, please click the link below:
