Two intrepid Enduro and Motocross riders are aiming for the top in 2021 thanks to the support and sponsorship of AJN Steelstock.
Jake Roper (18) and Georgie Potter (17) are both experienced and highly motivated Enduro and Motocross riders who will be kicking up the dirt and competing on brand new bikes thanks to the ongoing support from AJN.
Described as having the perfect balance of power and manoeuvrability for Enduro racing, Jake will be looking to claim top spot at this year’s Eastern Centre Championship – as well as making his mark in the 2021 British Enduro Championship – onboard an AJN branded KTM 250 EXC-F.
No stranger to success, Jake, who started racing when he was 11 years old, claims winning the Clubman Class Eastern Centre Championship at just 16, and winning the Hawkstone International Enduro, as some of his best achievements to date.
The British Women’s Motocross Championship and the Women’s IMBA European Championship are key targets for Georgie and her KTM 250 SX-F. Like Jake, Georgie, also started racing Enduro when she was 11 and competes in both Enduro and Motocross events.
In 2019, Georgie qualified for the Women’s European Motocross Team and in 2020 she claimed her first podium finish, coming second overall in the Girls Nationals. This year, Georgie is aiming for a top 10 finish in the European Championship, and ultimately, wants to race in the WMX Motocross World Championship.
Alan Boyden, Joint Managing Director of AJN Steelstock, comments, “We are delighted to be associated with such talented and exciting young riders. Jake and Georgie are full of confidence, ambition and enthusiasm and I have no doubt that they are set to achieve great things.
“Their results have been impressive over the last few seasons and we can’t wait to see how they get on in 2021. On behalf of everyone at AJN, we’d like to wish them both every success over the coming season.”
