Cambridge City Ladies defender, Ceri Flye, has scored a perfect hat-trick by securing personal sponsorship from AJN Steelstock, for the third successive year.

Eighteen-year-old Ceri, who plays centre back in the FA Women’s National League Division One South East, started playing junior league football in 2012/13, and is now looking to progress her promising senior career.

No stranger to success, Ceri’s first season with previous club, Bury Town, saw them net the runners up spot in the league – missing out on the top by goal difference – and runners up in the league cup. Consecutive league wins then followed, including an impressive 4-3 victory in the Suffolk Cup, which saw Ceri score three equalising goals and setting up the winner.

A move to Cambridge City in 2014/15, saw further league domination with Ceri playing her part in the team that won promotion from the Eastern Region Premier Division, and lost out on just one trophy during four seasons of junior football.

AJN’s renewed sponsorship will help enable Ceri to build on her success as she progresses her senior career and we wish her all the best for the season ahead.
