AJN’s ‘expert’ enduro rider continues to improve on top 10 performance
AJN sponsored, Jake Roper, has cemented his place in the Expert Class of the ACU British Enduro Championships after improving on his impressive Top 10 placing from 2023.
Competing on some of the most technical and challenging enduro courses throughout the UK, including the coveted Enduro GP in Wales, the 2021 British Enduro Clubman Champion, raced among the best of the best to end the season in P7 overall – two places ahead of his 2023 position.
As recognition for his consistent performances, Jake was chosen to ride among the top 40 riders in the UK in the Enduro GP National Class in Rhayader, Wales. In an exclusive interview with Jake before the GP, he commented, “It’s a great achievement and accomplishment for me. I’m very happy to compete as the National Class is made up of the top 40 riders in the UK. I’ll be happy with myself just to finish the race, getting to the end safely, going home saying I’ve completed a GP in my home country.”
Starting the season with some strong performances, Jake managed to secure his best result yet in Expert Class with a P3 in Devon. Coupled with his performance in the Enduro GP, there’s no doubt he’s going to continue to be a top contender.
Riding an AJN 250cc KTM X-CF Jake, who started racing when he was 11 years old, is no stranger to competition. We’re extremely proud of his performances and improvements on his standing in the Expert Class.
