AJN has a long history of doing whatever we can to support good causes. From local schools, sports clubs and parish councils, through to talented sporting individuals and national and international charities, we are keen to support the communities in which we operate and the causes we feel passionate about.

This year, we’re taking things a little further with the launch of the AJN Charity of the Year programme and the East Anglian Air Ambulance and the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance have been selected as our designated charities for 2021/22.

Both charities provide a helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) for people in their respective locations. They are amazing charities that, quite simply, save lives and are worth any support we can give.

We will be encouraging our staff to organise and take part in their own fundraising events throughout the year and have pledged to match whatever they can raise.

‘Team AJN Steelstock’, for example, led by one of AJN’s production administrators and team captain, Harry Sage, recently took part and completed the East Anglian Air Ambulance’s Trek24 event.

Over 35 fantastic supporters completed the gruelling 24-mile course on Saturday 14th August 2021, and so far, have raised over £9,000 for the charity. Donations are still coming in and the company will match the total amount raised by the team.
